Snowfell are a group of four friends from NorthDevon, who describe the music they play as “pure, crisp, powerful, & fresh indie rock”. Their sound isacoustic guitar driven melodic rock, with an earthyPJ Harvey type edge, producing simple, short andsweet tracks. They say they aim to affect as many people aspossible with their music, trying to create powerfulinfecting and affecting songs. In the autumn of 2001 the very first snowfell songswere written, which the band found a very gratifyingexperience. “We are all united in our ethos towardscreating music and find it very easy to createa polished sound” says Dave. They recently put their track ”Ever Wanted” on“Transmission”, the Ariel’s compilation CD, whichfeatures thirteen of North Devon’s best unsigned upand coming original bands. Snowfell round off thealbum off very nicely, with their trade mark wellthought out melodic rock, which blends acoustic &electric guitar with shining female vocals. After recording “Ever Wanted”, Snowfell startedwork on recording three other tracks, which are justabout ready to be released.
